Marble Edition

MATERICA is a Cultural Association founded in 2020 by Marianna Galbusera, Gregorio Lioce and Lajdi Sulaj, with the aim of creating mono-materical objects, through direct commissions, open calls, events and exhibitions.

The desire is to study and analyse the materia, commissioning architects to create an object, work of art or sculpture, using a single material. Emerging figures will work together with internationally renowned architects, confronting with the specific properties of each material: the result will be a mono-materical manifesto.

Marble is the protagonist of the 2021 edition. Each year a new material will be chosen. Throughout the years, the aim is to create the archive of the monomateria.

How to participate safely

Due to COVID19 restrictions, capacity is limited - EU Green Pass is required to access the venue.
